Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has emphasized that the Federal Government has implemented a comprehensive security plan and a well-defined strategy to address any potential security vacuum following the transition from the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
On Friday, he reassured the public of the strategy that the government and its partners have prepared for the country.
This strategy is intended to ensure a stable and secure environment post-ATMIS, focusing on enhancing the capabilities of the Somali National Army (SNA) and other national security forces to independently handle the country’s security challenges.
