Mogadishu – Somalia’s Minister of Planning, Mohamud Beenebeene, officially launched the 2nd Edition of the Somalia Economic Outlook in Mogadishu.
The report highlights an average GDP growth of 5.1% from 2004 to 2023, achieved despite global shocks.
Speaking at the event, the minister emphasized the importance of inclusive growth, economic resilience, and smarter investments.
“The report calls for inclusive growth, resilience, and smarter investments to drive our NTP2025–2029,” he stated.
The report is expected to guide key economic strategies under the National Transformation Plan (NTP) 2025–2029.
