Mohamed Beenebeene, the Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, held discussions with members of the Population and Housing Census Committee.
Beenebeene’s discussions with members of the committee took place at the planning ministry’s offices in Mogadishu on Sunday.
They discussed the progress of preparations for the census. Members of the committee also briefed the minister on funding for this important exercise that Somalia has not held in decades.
