Dr. Abdirahman Beileh, Somalia’s Minister of Finance, discussed his country’s financial management reforms with the Turkish Ambassador on April 15.
Beileh met with Mehmet Yilmaz, the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, in Mogadishu.
During their discussions, they talked about the different ways that Turkey would support Somalia’s reformation of financial management systems.
Dr. Beileh recognized the incredible role that Turkey has played as one of Somalia’s closest international allies.
On his part, Ambassador Yilmaz assured the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) of Turkey’s full support in reforming the public financial management system.
