Dr. Abdirahman Beileh toured Mogadishu Port on Thursday, October 22, to inspect the operations of the Ministry of Finance at the facility.
During the inspection tour, Dr. Beileh reminded the finance ministry personnel of the importance of domestic revenue to the future of the people of Somalia.
He urged them to ensure that they collect the requisite domestic revenue from all people and organizations that use the port.
Dr. Beileh commended the economic reforms the Federal Government of Somalia has instituted through the finance ministry.
Beileh informed the finance ministry personnel that the economic reforms have improved revenue mobilization and ensured that businesses receive better services.
