Benadir won Somalia’s regional football tournament after defeating Galmudug 3-0 on post-match penalties.
The two sides met in the finals of the men’s tournament, which returned after a four-year hiatus.
Mogadishu Stadium hosted the entire tournament.
Benadir and Galmudug had finished the 90 minutes of normal time tied 2-2 in a pulsating match attended by a massive crowd.
From the first to the last day of the tournament, huge crowds gathered to support their favorite players and teams.
