President Muse Bihi Abdi held a high-level meeting with his predecessor at the Office of the President on July 20.
The meeting between Bihi and ex-President Ahmed Silanyo took place in Hargeisa.
Several dignitaries and leaders, including business tycoons and government officials, were at the highly publicized meeting.
Hassan Isse Jama, a former Vice President of Somaliland, also joined the two leaders.
Reports from the Office of the President indicate that Silanyo paid a courtesy call on Bihi as part of the Eid-Al-Adha celebrations.
