Somaliland’s President Muse Bihi Abdi has arrived in the United States.
The plane carrying President Bihi landed at the Dulles International Airport, Washington on March 13.
Members from the Somaliland community in Washington were at the airport to receive and welcome Bihi to the US.
Bihi is in the US at the invitation of the Heritage Foundation.
This represents the first time he has traveled to the US since winning Somaliland’s presidential elections in 2017.
President Bihi will deliver a speech at a Heritage Foundation event while in the US.
