Somaliland’s President Muse Bihi Abdi held discussions with members of the United States Foreign Affairs Committee.
His meeting with the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US Congress took place on March 18.
President Bihi’s meeting with the committee occurred on the fifth day of his tour of the United States.
Bihi’s delegation held fruitful discussions with a US team that featured Rep. Greg Meeks, Rep. Mike McCaul, and Rep. Karen Bass.
Other committee members at the talks were Rep. Chris Smith, Rep. Steve Chabot, Rep. Scott Perry, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Brian Mast, Rep. Tim Burchett, and Rep. Young Kim.
Some of the issues they discussed included development, security, and the economy.
