President Muse Bihi Abdi hosted the Danish Ambassador to Somalia in his office in Hargeisa on January 26.
Bihi and Ambassador Ole Thonke discussed several issues pertaining to the bilateral relations between Somaliland and Denmark.
Ole Thonke commended President Bihi and the people of Somaliland for the progress made in the field of democracy and social affairs.
Other than that, Ambassador Thonke assured President Bihi that Denmark would continue supporting and funding the Somaliland Development Fund (SDF).
The upcoming local and parliamentary elections in the breakaway region also featured prominently in the discussions between Bihi and Ambassador Thonke.
