Somaliland’s President Muse Bihi Abdi hosted a delegation from Senegal at his office in Hargeisa.
The Senegalese delegation visited Bihi on Thursday, May 12.
According to a statement from Bihi’s office, the delegation was in the country to deliver a message from Senegalese President Macky Sall.
Two officials from Senegal’s Office of the President were in the delegation.
They included Mohammamel Habeb Niang and El Haji Abdoulaye Dia.
The Senegalese officials conveyed greetings from President Mall to the President, government, and people of Somaliland.
Bihi expressed his gratitude to the Senegalese delegation for visiting Somaliland.
He also briefed them on the progress that Somaliland has made on the democratic front, efforts to reconstruct the country, and the long-term strategic plans of his administration.
Sall is also the current President of the African Union (AU).
