UAE funded the reconstruction of the airport.

President Bihi immediately declared Berbera International Airport open for business.

Consequently, the airport is to start operating as soon as possible.

Several ministers in President Bihi’s administration attended the opening ceremony. Officials from the UAE joined them.

Members of the diplomatic corps, leading politicians, and representatives from Ethiopian Airways were at Saturday’s function too.
