A blood donation program for the Somali National Army (SNA) troops has been launched in Mogadishu.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre was among the first to donate blood for the cause.
The program, which was launched on Thursday, is under the “Death or Victory” public campaign.
Death or Victory is a public campaign designed to solicit support for the army’s operations against Al-Shabaab terrorists around the country.
It encourages the public to donate blood to soldiers wounded in the ongoing operations against Al-Shabaab.
