Book Aid International has started conducting training for regional libraries in Somaliland’s capital of Hargeisa.
The organization launched the training on December 7, 2020 at Damal Hotel, one of the city’s most famous hotels.
Representatives from seven regional, national, and public libraries attended the training.
The representatives were trained on how they become children’s corners librarians.
Some of the topics covered during the training include safeguarding children and understanding the needs of children with special needs.
They also received training on sorting children’s books.
