Borama Public Hospital has received a donation of a new ambulance from Hallo Trust.
The state-of-the-art ambulance was handed over to the local COVID-19 preparedness and response committee.
Borama hospital, which is in Awdal Province, has been crying out for more equipment and assistance to test and treat patients in the wake of the virulent disease.
Hallo Trust, an international organization, said that it was donating the ambulance to help the hospital’s fight against COVID-19.
The organization also donated the vehicle to help the facility to boost its capacity for handling and responding to medical emergencies.
