Five young Somali men will spend several years behind bars after a Bosaso court found them guilty of assaulting a family.
The young men were in court to answer to charges of attacking an impoverished family in the region last week.
They recorded the act on video and shared it on social media.
The family they abused included a father, mother, and children.
The Bosaso court sentenced them to prison terms ranging from 5-6 years each in addition to a fine not exceeding $4,000 per person.
