The city of Bosaso in Puntland has received new oxygen generation plant equipment.
Authorities in the region received the equipment on September 18 at the second-largest city in the regional state of Puntland.
The equipment included cylinders and regulators, Filling ports, filters, a generator, power box, and 480 cylinders were part of the equipment delivered on Saturday too.
The delivery of the equipment was part of the public-private engagement that featured the government, citizens, and private businesses.
Through this partnership, the region has reaped the rewards of an effective fight against COVID-19.
Authorities announced that the regional government would now hire an engineer to train local personnel to use the oxygen generation equipment.
Bosaso, and the wider Puntland region, seeks to combat the spread of COVID-19 and treat patients already diagnosed with the disease.
