The British Peace Support Team (BPST) Africa is currently training Somali military on the 5Cs of improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
BPST Africa commenced the training early this month.
Several Somali National Army (SNA) officers attended the training that focuses on Confirm, Clear, Call, Cordon, and Control, which are more commonly referred to as the 5Cs.
The training mostly focuses on areas where IEDs are suspended.
Furthermore, SNA are undergoing gender training from the BPST Africa team too.
