Brigadier General Keith Katungi has officially taken over the reins as the new commander of the Ugandan contingent of African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
Brig. Gen. Katungi has taken over from Brig. Gen. Don Nabasa.
Brig. Gen. Nabasa has completed his one-year tour of duty as the Commander of AMISOM’s Ugandan contingent.
Katungi formally took over on December 19 in Mogadishu.
