A British Member of Parliament (MP) has appealed to leaders in Somalia to agree on a transparent electoral process.
Vicky Ford, the Chelmsford MP, sent out the appeal to Somalia leaders on December 22.
She said that the electoral process must be “transparent and credible.”
Further, the Chelmsford MP urged the different players in Somalia to ensure that the country corrects any electoral anomaly that has hitherto occurred.
The British politician signed off by reminding Somalis that their stability, safety, and security as a nation rests on holding fair elections.
