The building where Somalia’s federal parliament is located will be rebuilt.
Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur Madobe, the Speaker of the House of the People (Lower House) confirmed these plans on Sunday, June 5.
Speaker Madobe was in Mogadishu inspecting the parliamentary buildings.
During the inspection tour, Speaker Madobe requested the public to expect extensive renovations in the near future.
Moreover, he promised a training institution right inside the parliamentary buildings once the renovations are complete.
