The Council of Ministers has approved the appointment of a new Chairperson and Executive Director of the Somali Development and Reconstruction Bank (SDRB).
Hodan Osman becomes the bank’s new Chairperson while Adan Roble takes over as its Executive Director with immediate effect.
Cabinet ministers approved the appointments on Thursday during their weekly meeting.
SDRB serves a critical purpose in Somalia.
It serves different players and stakeholders in sectors such as agriculture, livestock, fisheries, mining, industry, and tourism.
