Somalia’s Council of Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mustafe Sheikh Ali Dhuhulow as the new Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Agency (ICA).
Dhuhulow, a seasoned Somali politician and experienced lawmaker, succeeds Ahmed Saed Mohamed, who held the position since July 8, 2023.
This leadership change marks a significant shift in the agency’s administration, with Dhuhulow expected to bring his expertise to oversee immigration and citizenship operations.
Ministers approved his appointment during the weekly cabinet meeting held at Villa Somalia in Mogadishu today.
