The cabinet has approved the appointment of the new Accountant General of Somalia.
Cabinet approved the appointment of Abdirahman Mohamed Anas to serve as the new Accountant General.
Ministers approved the appointment when they held their weekly meeting on Thursday under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama.
The federal Ministry of Finance had settled on Anas for the position.
According to the ministry, Anas is the best man for the job owing to his expertise in administration and finance.
