A military officer died in a car accident in Sanaag region as several others suffered various types of injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The incident occurred when the car the officers were traveling in overturned in Erigavo, which is the administrative capital of Sanaag Province.
The injured were rushed to Hargeisa General Hospital, where doctors are currently attending to them.
The officers were on their way to Fadhi-gaab to resolve a recent clash between two rival clans when the accident occurred.
