A car bomb killed two people in Somalia’s Ba’aadweyne region early Sunday morning.
Ba’aadweyne, which is roughly 170kms southeast of Galkayo in Mudug region, was rocked early today morning.
Security authorities and eyewitnesses in the region confirmed that two people died when the explosive, which was planted inside a car, went off.
According to the authorities, several people were injured during the blast.
Furthermore, authorities believe that the landmine attack targeted a nearby security checkpoint.
