The Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) has opened a new branch in Baidoa.
Baidoa, the administrative capital of the regional state of Southwest, has the honor of hosting the newest branch of the Central Bank.
Southwest’s President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed was in Baidoa presiding over the opening ceremony.
He was together with Abdirahman Mohamed, the Governor of the Central Bank, and other senior officials from his administration and the bank.
The Baidoa branch of the Central Bank was declared open on Saturday.
