The Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) has received a huge award.
CBS won the 2023 Central Banking’s Payment and Market Infrastructure Development Award. CBS Governor Abdirahman Mohamed confirmed receipt of the award.
He was in London to receive the award.
Governor Mohamed added that the award is a testament to the incredible work that the bank has put in over the years.
Mohamed stated that the institution would also not relent in developing the infrastructure of the country’s financial sector.
