The Central Bank of Somalia’s Board of Directors held its 89th regular meeting at the Mogadishu offices on Monday.
Members of the board made several key decisions to strengthen the institutional and financial sectors.
The Board approved the 2025 budget and renewed licenses for banks and money transfer businesses (MTBs).
These reforms are aimed at fostering economic growth and ensuring the stability of Somalia’s financial system.
