Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) won the nation’s Excellence in Banking Award.
CBS won the award at a ceremony held on June 3.
The institution sent its representatives to receive the awards dished out at the Global Somali Awards Night.
The Central Bank was commended for the remarkable progress it has made in rebuilding Somalia’s financial infrastructure.
Its role in enhancing Somalia’s economic stability, growth, and development was hailed too.
