A ceremony was held to launch the installation of an oxygen plant at Benadir Hospital in Mogadishu.
Several representatives from the Ministry of Health attended the opening ceremony.
Others from the Hormuud Foundation, which funded the construction and setting up of the oxygen plant, were at the function too.
The Turkish Embassy in Somalia also sent its representatives to the event.
The oxygen plant is crucial in Somalia’s fight against COVID-19 as it ensures that patients get the much-needed oxygen fast before their health deteriorates.
