The Somali Chamber of Commerce has signed a financial reforms agreement with the Benadir Regional Administration.
Yusuf Hussein Jimale, the Mayor of Mogadishu and Governor of the Benadir Regional Administration, signed the agreement with Chamber of Commerce officials.
Mahmoud Abdikarin Gaberye, the Chairman of the Somali Chamber of Commerce and Industry, signed on behalf of his organization.
The agreement allows both sides to collaborate on various issues.
Examples of areas where their collaboration would benefit Somalis include the restructuring of economic resources.
They intend to cooperate on development projects as well.
