The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) and regional ministries of humanitarian affairs have presented a report on the efforts of the Country Humanitarian Fund (CHF) 2024 to prevent the diversion of aid and establish a law to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches its intended recipients.
The meeting highlighted measures to improve accountability and transparency in aid distribution and emphasized the importance of establishing a legal framework to prevent aid from falling into the wrong hands.
