China has donated $139,318.45 to help flood victims in Somalia.
The Chinese Embassy in Mogadishu handed the funds to the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA).
Top officials from the Embassy handed the funds to Mahamuud Moallim on Wednesday.
Moallim, the SODMA Commissioner, expressed gratitude on behalf of the people and government of Somalia for the donation.
He said that the funds would go a long way toward helping flood victims around the nation.
