China has promised to help to alleviate the impact of the ongoing drought in Somalia.
Fei Shengchao, Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, promised this during his meeting with Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre in Mogadishu.
Ambassador Shengchao and the Prime Minister met on Tuesday, September 20.
Prime Minister Barre assured the public that he discussed current drought response measures with the Chinese Ambassador.
Their discussions also focused on issues of mutual interest to the two nations.
