China has promised to help rehabilitate Somalia’s Radio Muqdisho.
On November 3, the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia – Fei Shengchao – broke this news during a visit to the Radio Muqdisho’s offices in Mogadishu.
He visited the radio station in the company of Osman Dubbe, Somalia’s Minister of Information.
Dubbe received Ambassador Shengchao on Wednesday at the ministry’s offices.
Thereafter, the two toured Radio Muqdisho to understand the prevailing situation better.
Several senior officials from the information ministry joined Ambassador Shengchao and Dubbe in the tour.
Ambassador Shengchao assured Dubbe that China would contribute the resources needed to ensure that Radio Muqdisho has the best equipment and personnel.
