The Chinese government is ready to help the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) to renovate and furnish its new offices.
Fei Shengchao, the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, confirmed this on Friday while at an event held to celebrate International Civil Aviation Day.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre was at the event too.
Amb. Shengchao added that China would help to enhance the civil aviation capabilities of Somalia.
Prime Minister Barre awarded Amb. Shengchao a certificate of honor for the remarkable role that China continues to play in developing Somalia’s civil aviation sector.
