Cholera Has Killed 54 Somalis Since January, Declares WHO

Cholera has claimed the lives of 54 Somalis since the beginning of the year.

The World Health Organization (WHO) issued the latest stats on the disease that continues to ravage Somalia on Friday.

According to WHO, the death tally shows the severity of the outbreak.

Moreover, the number of people killed could rise further since the East African nation has diagnosed 4,388 people with the ailment.

Most of the reported cases are in the river basin.
