The construction of a medical facility in Sool that’s worth more than $140,000 started on Saturday, August 14.
This happened when officials laid the foundation stone for the medical facility.
Individuals from the local community contributed the funds that will go towards constructing the facility, which is projected to be the largest in the region.
The facility is to be known as Laascaanood Referral Hospital.
Reports indicate that the facility is also to serve as a medical oxygen plant.
