The construction of a health emergency operations center in Mogadishu has kicked off.
Mayor Yusuf Hussein Jimale of Mogadishu laid the foundation stone at the site where the center will stand.
Mayor Jimale, who is also the Governor of Benadir, said that the facility would be known as the Benadir Regional Public Health Emergency Operations Center.
He laid the stone on Saturday.
