Mogadishu Mayor Yusuf Madaale has laid the foundation for a new road project linking the Darussalam and Balad districts.
The Mayor laid the foundation signifying the official start of the road’s construction on Thursday.
This infrastructure initiative aims to improve connectivity between Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital city, and the Middle Shabelle region.
The project is expected to enhance transportation, facilitate trade, and promote economic development in the area.
