At the Somalia Humanitarian Forum in Mogadishu, George Conway, the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) of the United Nations said that the humanitarian situation in Somalia is much better than it was last year.
Speaking at the forum on Tuesday, Conway, who is also the UN Resident, and Humanitarian Coordinator for Somalia, stated that the humanitarian situation in Somalia has improved compared to a year ago.
However, he emphasized that there are still significant challenges that require continued attention and support, especially in the areas affected by conflict, climate shocks, and displacement.
