Councilors from six major Somaliland councils held discussions with the Minister of Interior and a Director-General from the same ministry on security matters.
Mohamed Kahin Ahmed, the interior minister, and DG Mohamed Yusuf Ismail met with the councilors to discuss cooperation between the ministry and the regional councils.
Other issues discussed at the meeting include the proposal by the councilors to change their administrations.
Kahin and DG Ismail agreed with them on the need to allow extraordinary sessions on such matters to proceed as soon as possible.
