COVID-19 Claims Life of a Prominent Female Somali Singer

On February 20, COVID-19 claimed the life of yet another prominent Somali personality, this time a popular singer.

Fadumo Ali Nkruumaha died of COVID-19 complications on Sunday.

She had been admitted at De Martini Hospital in Mogadishu to receive treatment after being diagnosed with the deadly disease.

The singer was born in Dhusamareb, the administrative capital of Galmudug State.

After completing her primary school at Dhusamareb, she relocated to Hamar, her father’s hometown, for middle school studies.

She studied at Hamar Jajab School before proceeding to Komerjaale School for the rest of her studies.
