Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has mourned the death of a popular female Somali singer who died of COVID-19 on February 21.
Fadumo Ali Nkruumahha died at De Martini Hospital in Mogadishu where she had been admitted to receive treatment.
She had been diagnosed with the virulent disease a few days ago.
A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Nkruumahha for the excellent role she played in building the nation.
Furthermore, Roble commended the role the deceased played in promoting Somali culture and music, which made her a household name.
