Daad Madheedh has won the Somaliland Football Tournament that kicked off on October 26 in Hargeisa.
Over 20,000 spectators attended the match to cheer their favorite players and football teams.
Daad Madheedh won the match and the tournament after beating their opponents 2-1.
President Muse Bihi Abdi attended the match as the Guest of Honor. He was flanked by several local Members of Parliament and opposition leaders.
Guests came all the way from the Somali Region in Ethiopia and Djibouti too.
Bihi congratulated the 14 regional football teams that participated in the month-long tournament.
Boss Mire, Somaliland’s Minister of Sports said that 452 athletes, footballers, and coaches participated in the successful tournament.
