Dahabshil Group has donated communication equipment to the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA).
The Group donated the equipment through its subsidiary Somtel Telecommunications Co.
While making the donation, Dahabshil’s management indicated that the equipment would be useful at SODMA’s Emergency Operation Center.
Further, the Emergency Operation Center would also benefit from free internet services from the telecom company.
The equipment and internet services would allow SODMA to provide emergency response services more efficiently.
