DANAB and Jubbaland regional forces conducted a joint counterterrorism operation in Lower Shabelle.
The operation took place on Friday.
They joined forces to liberate several areas in Lower Shabelle from the control of Al-Shabaab militants.
Soldiers destroyed multiple terrorist hideouts in the region.
