Deadly fighting has been reported outside the residence of the leader of the regional state of HirShabelle.
According to sources, two people died during the clashes that occurred outside the residence of President Ali Gudlawe of HirShabelle on March 8.
Apparently, the fighting was between government troops and clan militias.
The two sides fought over a standoff arising out of the ongoing elections for House of the People (Lower House) seats.
They disagreed over 11 Lower House seats.
Five other individuals were injured during Tuesday’s clashes.
