A delegation from the Ministry of Finance attended the Somalia and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Staff meeting in Istanbul, Turkey.
The meeting took place on Tuesday, August 16.
Dr. Elmi M. Nur, the Minister of Finance, led the delegation from Somalia.
While at the meeting, Dr. Nur spoke about the importance of his country’s national economic reform efforts.
In his speech, the minister stated that the economic reform efforts are crucial in helping Somalia to achieve the overall security and socio-economic priorities that all Somalis hold dear.
